The challenge

One of our clients had experienced some unfortunate accidents at a couple of their production sites. They were determined to use communication and learning to drive home the urgency of the situation and show employees what they could do to improve safety. Something had to change.

 

The solution

We started with a sprint. Over the course of one intense week, we dug deep into the target group’s needs, created a concept, got feedback on it from various stakeholders and refined it.

The concept used black and white video and photography with red line drawings on top to highlight the moments when an ordinary worker becomes a safety hero. The style and stories brought out the heart in health and safety, and was deployed across a video, a poster campaign and in-depth learning materials.

The results

The campaign was rolled out globally across Alfa Laval production sites, giving workers a shared language and visual identity around safety. The sprint-to-delivery model compressed a process that traditionally takes months into a single focused week, resulting in materials that felt both urgent and human.
